Simplification
- Best practice and knowledge exchange within our multi-station network
- Simplified administration and contact management
- Harmonised standards and commercial agreements (SGHAs, SLAs)
ground.net is an exciting pan-European ground services alliance launched in 2013. By uniting local experts in an innovative multi-station network, we provide customer airlines with streamlined access to a full palette of high-quality, customised passenger, ramp and cargo services.
Precisely at a time when efficient handling of passengers and cargo are of key importance for global airlines the well-established and professional European ground handling companies AeroGround Flughafen München GmbH, Goldair Handling, AAS Airline Assistance Switzerland, GH Italia and Aviator have formed a pan-European strategic network.
ground.net is an entirely new concept for conducting ground handling business in Europe. The goal of the partnership is to provide airlines with a multi-station network alternative alongside the global players. ground.net provides various services in the area of passenger, ramp and cargo handling, de-icing and more as a strategic partnership.
ground.net relies on its members' local expertise and offer global operating airline customers the benefits of network-based ground handling services in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom and the Scandinavian countries Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
Our customers profit from an attractive and tailor-made alternative to global providers in Europe.
- Dieter Streuli, CEO AAS
We are the leading European ground handling alliance and the first choice of airlines for multi-station network agreements
Together, we generate more value for our customers than any ground handling partners can achieve individually.
At the core of the ground.net vision is our partnership, innovation and customer focus. We base our values on three major pillars:
Drawing on shared strengths means faster results and lower overall costs.
- Dieter Streuli, CEO AAS
Simplified administration, harmonised standards and shared best practices among local partners mean customized high-quality services are well within reach at reasonable costs.
Our expertise spreads throughout Europe, covering airports in the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Cypress, Germany, and Switzerland. Each partner is able to draw on the skills of every other partner in the network, making these services available at your fingertips.
Cooperation allows us to offer tailor-made services throughout Europe.
- Dimitris Papamichail, CEO, Goldair Handling
More than just a conceptual partnership, ground.net is well underway.
Aegean Airlines, Air Malta and Adria benefit from the multi-station network where they are handled by ground.net's local experts.
ground.net is a European network of leading regional and independent ground handling providers.
- Dieter Streuli, CEO AAS
Together, we generate more value for our customers than any of the ground handling partners can achieve individually.
- Erik Strandgren, CCO Aviator
Together, we generate more value for our customers than any of the ground handling partners can achieve individually.
- Erik Strandgren, CCO Aviator
Because ground.net is an entirely new partnership that has no precedent in the ground handling industry, we want a look that captures this innovative spirit.
The vibrant colours signify our commitment to straightforward, transparent services, while the star shape recalls both the network that allows us to bring our shared benefits to our customers, as well as the "behind the scenes" nature of ground services.
Importantly, the network is made up of individual parts, each symbolized by an arrow. It is among the core beliefs of ground.net that each contributing partner brings their own unique local expertise to the whole, and plays a critical role in the overall partnership. ground.net is your gateway to local experts.
Together, we generate more value for our customers than any of the ground handling partners can achieve individually.
- Erik Strandgren, CCO Aviator

At the heart of the ground.net partnership are benefits for our customers. By sharing best practices, knowledge, and harmonised work procedures, we are able to combine both simplification and dedication for our customers. The end result is reduced costs and workload.
The entire concept of the ground.net partnership originated when we realised that many of the smaller ground handling companies had in-depth and personalized local experience that was not easily available to some of the larger players.
Today, our vision of sharing our skills and knowledge throughout Europe has become a reality.
